Ctrl+Alt+plus sign (+)— If you press Print Screen, you get an image of your local desktop—not the remote desktop. Pressing the Ctrl+Alt+plus sign (+) keyboard shortcut captures a snapshot of the entire client window area of Remote Desktop and is the same as pressing Print Screen on your local desktop.

Ctrl+Alt+minus sign (-)—Sometimes you don't want an image of the entire desktop; sometimes you want just a selected window. Pressing the Ctrl+Alt+minus sign (-) keyboard shortcut captures a snapshot of just the active window within the remote desktop session. This key combination is the same as pressing Alt+Print Screen on your local desktop.

To enable Ctrl Alt Del in a HTML5 session for all clients you need to chenge the following setting in c:\Program Files (x86)\TSplus\clients\www\software\settings.js:

W.ctraltdel = "mobile"; //possible all, no, mobile -> handles if the menu entry should initiate the action

Change it to

W.ctraltdel = "all"; //possible all, no, mobile -> handles if the menu entry should initiate the action

After closing and reopening the session Ctrl Alt Del should work.

1) Hardware

Terminal Service Plus can work on your PC and here is the minimal recommended hardware:

Number of usersWindows 2008/2012/2016/8 or 10
3 - 5 I5 or above
4 GB
10 I5 or above
8 GB
25 8 GB
I7 or Xeon
50 and above 16 GB
Dual CPU - SSD Disk dedicated to the system

Over 50 concurrent sessions, we recommend to use a farm of servers. Each server (physical or virtual ones) handling up to 50 concurrent users.

Comment: The type of hardware you need will mostly depend on what kind of resources the applications you wish to publish consume the most (CPU/memory/Disk). You might consider getting a server with SSD drives if you plan on using an application that accesses a database on your TSplus server as it will greatly enhance the performances.

2) Operating system

Your hardware must use one of the operating systems below:

  • Windows XP Professional or Windows XP Home.
  • Windows Vista Home Premium, Professional, Corporate or Ultimate Edition
  • Windows 7 Home Premium, Professional, Corporate or Ultimate Edition
  • Windows 8 Professional/8.1
  • Windows 10 (Pro, Ultimate, Enterprise. Home edition: every user needs his own username/password)
  • Windows 2003 Server or 2003 SBS
  • Windows 2008 Server or 2008 R2/SBS
  • Windows 2012 Server or 2012 R2
  • Windows 2016 Server with limitation: only 15 concurrent remoteapp sessions are allowed, standard RDP sessions are not affected

32 and 64 bits are supported.

  • If you install TSplus on Windows 2003/2008/2012 make sure the RDS or Terminal Services roles as well as the RDS Terminal Services licensing role are not installed before installing TSplus.
If these roles were present, remove them and reboot.

  • For any supported Windows Home edition, you will need to create local administrators users accounts in order to be able to connect remotely.

On the TSplus server:

  • Open GPO Editor (gpedit.msc)
  • go to:
Computer Configuration \ Administrative Templates \ Windows Components \ Remote Desktop Session Host / Connections
  • configure keep-alive connections  interval – Enabled
    Keep-Alive interval: 1
  • reboot or force update group policies

To enable special keys like Win+R or Win+D inside a rdp session you need enable the special windows keys option under the advanced security session (AdminTool -> security), and the Tab on Client option in the client generator.

This is not possible and we do not plan on implementing it anytime soon for the simple reason that the process of registering an app on ios and android stores make it so that you cannot have uploaded multiple instance of the same app under a different name.

If the user has assigned a single application, you could simply disable the taskbar.
You can edit the file C:\Program Files (x86)\tsplus\UserDesktop\themes\Default\Desktop0.ini and change the value of the 'visible' variable of the [taskbar] area :
visible = 0

Once the file has been saved, you will have to modify the properties to activate 'read only'.
